Celebrity tattoos have become all the rage in Hollywood and no one is a more perfect example of this then Megan Fox. This blockbuster diva currently has seven tattoos. The most prominent one and the one shown in the picture is "We Will All Laugh At Guilded Butterflies". That is a quote from William Shakespear’s King Lear Act V, scene III. Another pronounced tattoo that Megan Fox has is a bust of Marilyn Monroe tattooed on her forearm. On the inner aspect of her lower leg above her right ankle, Megan Fox has a crescent moon overlapping a five pointed star. It is the one visibly colored tattoo that she has.
Her next tattoo is the name of her boyfriend, actor Brian Austin Green, positioned between her pubic bone and right hip. On the inside of Megan’s left wrist is a tribal tattoo of two waves entwined like a yin and yang symbol. This tattoo has a bit of color but looks like black ink from a distance. On the back of her neck just below the hairline Megan has a black ink tattoo of the Chinese symbol of strength in calligraphy. It’s a simple tattoo with a strong meaning. The final celebrity tattoo that Megan Fox has is simply a phrase written in Old English, "There once was a little girl who never knew love until a boy broke her heart". The meaning is unclear. |

You can’t have a serious discussion on celebrity tattoos without mentioning Angelina Jolie. She has at least a dozen tattoos over her body and she also has quiet a lot experience with tattoo removal. This Gothic letter tattoo between her shoulder blades says "Know Your Rights". It’s the title of a song of her favorite band. The Arabic script celebrity tattoo on Angelina Jolie’s right arm means "Determination". It covers up the abstract lines tattoo she had done together with her ex Billy Bob Thornton.
The tattoo on Angelina Jolie’s left arm are the words of Tennessee Williams: "A prayer for the wild at heart, kept in cages." The Bengal tiger tattoo on her lower back is Angelina Jolie’s latest. It was done in Bangkok on July 8, 2004, during a 2 hour session by tattoo artist Sompong Kanhphai who also blessed it by chanting an ancient hymn. She has also had several of her celebrity tattoos removed which include the Japanese symbol for death which she had previously on her left shoulder. She has since had it covered with the Khmer tattoo for her son Maddox. She also had a tattoo on her right arm removed. It is the Japanese symbol for Courage. Her ex husband Johnny Lee Miller had a matching tattoo, that’s why she had it removed. |
