Some of the best celtic cross tattoos I have run across are three dimensional like this one. Anything done in a good 3-d design is totally awesome to me. It just adds a whole new flair to an old design. Many of the Scottish and Irish soccer players you see now days have celtic cross tattoos somewhere on their bodies. Its like a good luck charm for them, and they hold dearly to their old beliefs that good fortune and good luck will arrive to those that wear the celtic cross tattoos.

I have seen a lot of celtic cross tattoos being worn on the sides of the legs just as much as they are worn on the sides of the arms. I see men wearing them the most, but have seen a few ladies wearing smaller ones on their arms and on the backs of their shoulders. In regards to this tattoo, I really like it. It has a great shape to it, and the third dimension added to it, really makes it stand out from a lot of other tattoos I have seen. If I could choose between this tattoo and some of the others I have seen lately, I would choose this to have put on my arm.

You can tell this was fashioned after an old celtic cross tattoo, the lines are free flowing and not sharp. It makes it look very old and not designed in this era. When you use the gold color on a celtic cross tattoo, and then the green inside, you really get a clear picture of how celtic was used in stain glass designing. I really like this celtic cross tattoo, it looks very genuine and the artist should be proud of his or her work. I believe this artist is located in England if my memory serves me well.
