Characters Tattoos
The term character tattoos means different things to different people. Some people consider designs done in Chinese or Japanese to be character tattoos, while other people consider cartoons to be character tattoos. Today, we are going to be focusing on the latter definition of character tattoos, but with a twist. We are not just going to focus on cartoons. We are going to focus on characters that can be found in television and movies as well. Some of my favorite character tattoos were the ones that I saw at a sci-fi convention during the late 1990s. I saw a few good tattoos but some of my favorite were the ones that focused on a show called the X-Files.
I met this young lady then who had a character tattoo design that featured Fox Mulder, Dana Scully being chased by an alien. It was one of the most impressive designs that I have ever seen. But, like I said earlier, character tattoos are usually associated with cartoon characters. When choosing a design one has to keep in mind that there are literally thousands of cartoon characters to choose from. Some of the more prominent ones are Mighty Mouse, Daffy Duck, Mickey Mouse, Hong Kong Phooey, Batman and Robin, Porky Pig, Donald Duck and Green Lantern. Choosing one of these can be a challenge in itself, but when you factor in the placement, color and size of the tattoo it can be a real adventure. |
