Colored Tattoos

Getting a colored tattoo design is choice that is best left up to the person getting the tattoo. Some people prefer the colored tattoos, while others prefer one colored black or brown tattoo designs. Both colored tattoos and black tattoos have their advantages and disadvantages, but it basically comes down to personal preference.

The old one color tattoo designs seem to have an advantage because the lines are cleaner and the whole tattoo has a more distinguished and subtle look. Colored tattoos on the other hand are very eye catching, especially when they are done with contrasting colors.

A big disadvantage with both black and colored tattoos is fading of the ink over time. Black ink tattoos fade over time and the lines begin to blur a little bit. Colored tattoos also have this problem, but they have an additional problem to go with it. Different colors fade at different rates, so a person with one of these brightly colored designs can eventually end up with a design that looks patchy. Of course, this can be fixed with a touch-up, but it’s a significant enough matter for you to give it careful consideration before making your decision. Weigh your options carefully and choose a design that suits you and your personal style.
