I have been asked the same question at least a million times over. Where can I find some really radical free tattoo designs? And my answer to the question is almost always the same. There really isn’t any decent free tattoo designs that you can find on the internet. There may be a lot of tattoos circulating around out there but the quality isn’t all that good. What’s wrong with the free tattoo designs that are out there? A lot of things, but let’s cover some of the basics.

The first problem is that these designs are circulated all over the place. That means that special free tattoo design that you just found has been used by thousands upon thousands of people. Now, that doesn’t exactly make is special now does it? Another thing that’s wrong with these designs is that no self respecting artist would just give away something that he spent time and effort on. Tattoo artist who spent time to make a really cool tattoo design would expect to get some form of compensation for his work, whether it’s by using it in his own parlor or selling it to someone else. You don’t do work for free do you?

If your looking for free tattoo designs on the internet then you may be having a bit of trouble finding a high quality design. Don’t fret because that’s the nature of trying to find free tattoo designs. If you do find them then most likely there are one of two things wrong with them. They either are of poor quality or have been used by a million people, which makes them less then unique. So, what’s a person to do? First you need to realize that free tattoo designs are all around you. You just have to know where to look.

The first place you can get free tattoo design ideas is straight from nature. Look at travel brochures or nature guides, your sure to find all kinds of different ideas. Another place you can look for free tattoo designs is the library. There are books on mythology and history that you can get lots of ideas from. The last place you can look for great free tattoo designs is in your own family history. Maybe there is a family crest or a a symbol that was of particular importance to your grandparents. You’ll never know until you look.

Free Tattoo Flash

Here are some more examples of free tattoo flash. And these are also perfect examples of why I’m so against getting any old free tattoo flash that you can come across. I can identify one of the designs in the picture as a moon. The other two I’m not really so sure about. Let’s take a second and talk about each of the design elements in this free tattoo flash. As I said previously, the image on the lower right is your classic crescent moon design. Technically it’s not a bad tattoo, and I kind of like the tribal element to it.

But, other then that it’s a pretty boring and overused design. The design in the upper right is what I believe is a full moon with an old tree in front of it. This design just doesn’t look right. And there are two reasons why. First, the moon looks more like a golf ball then a moon. See all the dimples in it? And two, what are all the smaller circles on the side of it. Are they little moons, orbs or bubbles? Who knows. And now for the worst of the worst. The free tattoo flash design in the upper left corner. There is only thing I have to say about that. What in tarnation is it? If you can answer that you let me know.

Free tattoo flash is the most important aspect of any tattoo shop. People will come into the shop and spend countless hours pouring over the free tattoo flash available. Sometimes, however, the prospective tattoo shopper will bring in his own designs for the artist to customize. And of course, some people shop for free tattoo flash on the internet. This process can not only be painful and frustrating but it can also be a total waste of time. Gathered here are some great examples of free tattoo flash available to the potential tattoo consumer.

In the picture is a wide variety of designs that fall into the tribal flash category. While I would consider all these designs to be tribal, I don’t think that any of them are what I would call traditional. And these designs are a lot different from the garden variety free tattoo flash that you would see on a parlor’s wall. And that’s because they are all done in full color. Most tattoo flash is simply a template from which the artist can base the design on. But, these do show you what the finished product will eventually look like and can be a great starting point.

This is what they call a free tattoo. But don’t go crazy. Only the art is free. It’s not like you can go and get the tattoo for free. Not unless you are good friends with a tattoo artist who decides to do a favor for you. And even though this is a free tattoo and has only one color it is still a fairly complicated tattoo to do. Japanese dragons like this one always have a certain amount of fine detail to them that requires the hand of a very good artist.

And this is a pretty cool looking dragon too. One with an attitude that does not want to be messed it.

I like dragon tattoos and I especially like Japanese dragon tattoos. At the end of the day they always seem to be the coolest ones, whether it be a free tattoo or not. And I really, really like these dragons when they are fire breathing. I guess that is like the ultimate power. Imagine having the power of a dragon and being able to breath fire too. How cool is that?

Of course, everyone wants something for nothing. It’s just a part of our nature to see if we can get a deal on something, and there’s no better deals to be had then getting something for nothing. But, let’s dispel the myth that there are such things as free tattoos. Because in actuality there isn’t. As a matter of fact, when someone uses the phrase, free tattoo it kind of perplexes me. What does that really mean.

Does the term free tattoo refer to the flash? Because if that’s the case then there is free tattoo flash out there, if you looking for something that is not the least bit unique or creative. These designs were probably whipped out by some factory, who’s also making things like kids stickers and such. And if that’s not what being talked about when someone uses the term free tattoo then I don’t know what would be. I’m sure there aren’t tattoo artist who are running around giving free tattoos. Not unless they using you as a guinea pig to test out their designs or want to photograph the tattoo for their portfolio. Then that would be plausible. All else is just nonsense.
