There are several meanings that the hibiscus flower tattoo can take on. One of the meanings is that of delicate beauty, this is the meaning often given to the hibiscus. No one can deny the beauty of the hibiscus and this makes it a suitable design for anyone looking for a symbol of beauty or delicacy. Another meaning that can be given to the hibiscus flower tattoo is to be consumed by love. I really like this hibiscus flower tattoo. I think that’s it a nice clean design that flows very well. I just wonder why the individual decided to get a hibiscus tattoo instead of getting something like a rose or lily. And I also wonder if the person knows the symbolism behind it’s design. There are a lot of different and varied meanings that the hibiscus flower tattoo can have to a person. But, the one that is the most accepted of all, is forlorn love. Yep, that’s right. The hibiscus tattoo stands for a love that will never be returned.

The object of the bearers affection will never return or realize the love that is being held for them. And this tattoo also means that the love will most likely consume the bearer completely and totally. Seems like a romantic notion but I wouldn’t want to have a hibiscus tattoo inked on my skin. If I loved someone who didn’t love me back, I would simply find another love. No need to spend the rest of your days pining over someone. There are a lot of fish in the sea. Maybe instead of a hibiscus tattoo they should have gotten some fish tattoos!!
