Military Tattoos
When searching for military tattoos, it should be noted that there are two basic types. There are the historic military tattoos and the modern military tattoos. The historic designs generally depict logos and motto’s that are a direct representation of those who have fought during a particular era or battle. Modern military tattoo designs generally depict a representation of a particular division or the mascot of that division. The modern military designs are great for those who are currently serving in a particular branch of the armed forces or has recently served in that branch.
These tattoos can show the unity and pride that each member has in the unit for which they belong. Those who are currently in the military however, should be well aware of the particular rules regarding tattoos. Each branch of service has their particular rules when it comes to tattoos and it is up to the soldier to make sure that they fit in those guidelines. The modern military tattoo should never be gotten by anybody who wasn’t in the military. Military designs on those who have never served are considered an insult to those who have served. If you have never served, stick to a historical version of these tattoos and not a modern version. |
