Scenery Tattoos
| Scenery tattoos can feature just about any form of landscape one can think of. You can get a scenery tattoos design that features a sprawling highway, an urban landscape complete with towering sky-scrapers or your favorite meadow. I have seen scenery tattoos that featured landscapes from only Europe and some that featured landscapes from only the United States. Almost anything is possible with one of these designs.
I have even seen scenery tattoos that featured landscapes from imaginary alien worlds.
While these technically could be pigeon-holed into the sci-fi genre of tattooing, I personally like to place them in the scenery tattoo genre. That’s because these designs don’t feature the alien creatures or the technological that these creatures possess, but only the exciting landscapes of these alien worlds. While these scenery tattoos are impressive, it can be difficult to say what the symbolism behind them means. I guess that it can mean different things to different people, but these tattoo designs usually speak volumes about the freedom and independence of the open road. This makes them an enduring and beautiful part of modern tattooing that is worth getting added to anybody’s collection of body art. What do scenery tattoos symbolize to you? |
