Science Fiction Tattoos
While they are considered geeky by many people, I have long loved science fiction tattoos. I have felt that science fiction tattoo designs make an impressive statement for those who are fans of the genre and can be quite complex and beautiful. I think that the bias against these tattoos is because they are misunderstood. A fact that I am going to remedy today. The design possibilities with science fiction tattoos are almost endless. Just about anything can be made into one of these fantastic designs. A person can get futuristic elements inked or the can choose to get designs that feature alien civilizations.
And these designs can include technologies, objects or creatures from other worlds. As you can see, this presents some fascinating opportunities for someone looking to add to his collection of body art. Some other elements that can be incorporated into science fiction tattoos include Star Trek characters such as MR. Spock, James Tiberius Kirk and Jean Luc Picard. A Star Wars fan may choose to get characters such as Luke Skywalker, Hans Solo or Princess Leia inked. Or a person can choose to get generic sci-fi elements incorporated into their science fiction tattoos such as monsters, space ships, robots, aliens, rockets, planets and space craft. Sci-fi Tattoos
Sci-Fi tattoos have been finding their place into people’s collection of body art since the beginning of the science fiction genre. People are amazed and thrilled to get sci-fi tattoos of characters and scenes from their favorite movies and books. Even I have fell victim to the excitement and exhilaration that sci-fi tattoos offer the ordinary person. Most of my favorite sci-fi tattoo designs are taken from the Star Wars and Star Trek franchises. These tattoos are not only cool to look at but they allude to a better place and time in the universe.
Here are some of the Star Trek designs that I have seen: USS Enterprise engaging a Romulan ship, The Borg, Mister Spock and Khan. Some of the Star Wars tattoos that I have seen: Darth Vader fighting Luke Skywalker with a light saber, The Death Star and the Bespin Mining Colony. Of course, there are other types of sci-fi tattoos that are available. Just about anything from this genre can make for a fascinating tattoo. Other sci-fi tattoo designs that I have seen recently include Blade Runner designs, Dune designs, War of the Worlds, Robo Cop, Total Recall and Back to the Future.
