Strawberry Tattoos
Strawberry tattoo designs may seem odd to some people, but these little fruits have long been associated with sensuality and sexuality. Strawberries are sweet and juicy and are often seen as a symbol of unbridaled carnality. Beyond the physical, strawberries are also seen as the emotional fruits of love as evidenced by the practice of giving your lover chocolate covered strawberries on Valentine’s Day. Beyond the symbolism however, is also a practical side to the strawberry tattoo. These tattoos are often easy to design and place and can be put anywhere on the human body.
Strawberry tattoos can also be inked in a variety of different ways. They can be done in a realistic fashion that highlights the green stemy leafs and small brown seeds, or it can be done in a more cartoonish fashion. The majority of strawberry tattoos are done in a very light hearted and often whimsical fashion. This makes it appear to be a tattoo that is only suitable for the fairer sex. But that is not the case. Strawberry tattoos can also be done in a dark fashion by adding elements such as daggers and blood to the overall design. This is usually the exception to the rule however. |
