Warrior Tattoos
Warrior tattoo designs are beginning to enjoy a level of popularity among young males who wish to express strength, courage and power. Warrior tattoos are designed to associate these characteristics with the bearer and show that they have made the sacrifices necessary in their life. People who choose a warrior tattoo have a number of options available to them according to their personal preferences or the culture that they associate themselves with. Three of the most common warrior tattoo designs are the Viking, Trojans and the Aztecs.
The Viking warrior is often shown as the ultimate barbarian and is often shown with a horned helmet, animal skins and a large menacing axe. The Trojan warrior is often depicted as having an elaborate helmet, colorful armor and weapons that are smaller and more precise. The Aztec warrior is often depicted as having elaborate gold armor, a face mask and may be seen with elements such as the sun and snakes. The one that is chosen depends on the culture that the bearer identifies with the most. Another warrior tattoo that is popular is the samurai. Samurais not only embody the warrior tradition of strength and courage, but also values that were endemic to that culture which include loyalty and honor. |
